In 2016, over 900 people died from drug overdose in the Philadelphia area.
This tragedy affects not only those who died but also their family and friends who struggled through their ordeal with them.

~ Have you lost a loved one to addiction? Do you need spiritual, loving support?
~ Do you want to show your care for those who have lost a son, daughter, brother, sister, or friend to addiction?
~ Are you concerned about the opioids problem plaguing our neighborhoods?

Come join us for Mass in McPherson Square Park, Kensington Ave. & Indiana St. in the Kensington section of Philadelphia— the epicenter of the drug trade in our city.

Meet at Mother of Mercy House at 3:30pm and we’ll walk to the park together.

Together we will pray for Christ’s HEALING for family and friends who have lost a loved one to addiction.

Together we will strengthen each other in the HOPE that all God’s children will work together to end the scourge of addiction and help those still struggling to find freedom and new life.
